The Cruiser 540 Express was at the time the flagship of the Cruiser fleet at the renowned Wisconsin-based boatbuilder. Compared to her competative models the extra space, storage, fuel and water capacities and performance allow her to be suited for some proper cruising. Including the swim platform, she is 58 feet in overall length, and she boasts a comfortable 16-foot beam. The first impression you get from the boat when you step aboard is the huge cockpit which would be ideal for either entertaining friends or relaxing with the family in comfort, the cockpit is covered by a fixed hardtop and a sunbrella extension aft that fully protects from the harsh elements. Down below once more you get a feeling of space with a well equipped fore n aft galley on the port side and saloon lounge to the strbd side. The master cabin is located aft and the guest cabin is the fwd V-berth. The boat is powered by twin Caterpillar 3406 which offer 800hp at 2300rpm and 31knots boat speed at full throttle. The large swim platform has a fixed aluminum cradles in place and a factory fitted electric dinghy davit system so launching and retrieving your tender is child’s play.
