NEW MODEL RELEASE - FERRETTI 800:

Innovation broadens the horizons of design.

Innovation is the key word which has always distinguished Ferretti yachts. Over the years, innovation within the spheres of technology, design and style have enabled the Ferretti brand to become one of the most representative on the market, not only in the nautical industry, but more generally as an Italian-made product worldwide.

Innovation, combined with a classical-contemporary design able to encourage change in the sector and destined to influence its future trends.

Ferretti prides itself on its innovation so it is no surprise the new Ferretti 800 contains some novelties not see before. Designed by architect Gianni Zuccon of Studio Zuccon International Project and Ferretti Groups Advanced Yacht Technology [AYT] the boat’s layout is inspired by larger boats and is highly innovative for an 80 footer.

Two novelties are a bronze colour for the dome and the graphics of the glazing characterized by an alternation of curves and decisive “cuts.” The main deck is entirely lit through windows. Three “shark branchiae” windows are part of the distinctive flavour of Ferretti yachts. From the outside, the overall view of this yacht gives the idea of a lightweight, highly elegant model, with a sporty touch: the bronze dome makes the profile more aggressive, and can be completed – upon the owner’s request – with a hard top which can be opened.

Similarly, in the master cabin enlarged windows provide more light and, in the guest cabins, two large new concept windows with portholes that can be opened, have been added.

Ferretti have installed LED lighting to the interiors. Cabins are more spacious with new space being created by moving the crew quarters to the extreme bow. There is a master cabin and two VIP cabins plus a guest room with overlapping beds. Transfer of the night access area to the right compared with the central axis of the yacht, has made it possible to create more spacious cabins. Moreover, each one has considerable natural light and an extraordinary sea view thanks to the new windows.

The Ferretti 800’s décor and materials feature copious quantities of leather, walnut and maple lining on the bridge. Natural colours dominate, with neutral parts verging on optical white to brighten up the contrast and give greater brilliance to the warm shades of elm wood, the leather and the mélange wall fabrics.

The new Ferretti 800 raises the bar in this market segment even higher and is perfectly suited to Asian conditions. Owners are expecting more from their yachts these days, and the Ferretti 800 is set to impress, as well as make the competition look again at their designs.

The Ferretti 800 features twin MAN 1800 engines which drive the yacht to a top speed of 31 knots. Contact Lee Marine for full information.
