First Riviera 52 Enclosed Fly Bridge delivered to Asia
Lee Marine proudly announces the landing of this brand new Riviera 52 – the first to be delivered to Asia. The new Riviera 52 was shipped from the boatyard in Coomera, east Australia after a trade in of the client’s 2-year old Riviera 45.
The great all round capabilities of a Riviera are perfectly suited to the hot, tropical Asian climate.
Boasting an enclosed fully air-conditioned fly bridge, side opening windows and large sunroof, you enjoy the feeling of an open bridge with the added advantage of controlling climate in an instant. There is nothing like sitting on the bridge, comfortable and dry in the Pompanette helm seat when its wet and wild outside.
There are too many features to talk about in one story about this new Riviera, and really its best described whilst onboard. However, a few of the notable features included in this delivery are Sea Keeper Gyro, aft galley with aft opening window to the cockpit, cockpit ice-maker and barbecue station, double entry transom doors to the cockpit, exceptional head height and volume throughout the vessel, massive saloon and forward facing windows.
Electronics and engine package includes CZONE vessel control, 3 docking stations and twin IPS 950s. This was in addition to custom inclusions of a high gloss timber fit-out. Rivera interiors really put the perfect finishing touches on the custom interior furnishings.
The success of delivery starts well before the boat arrives at the destination port. In this case, Lee Marine’s Martin Holmes and Jim Poulsen visited the vessel twice during construction. “The final testing and checking at the factory prior to delivery is critical and allows us to predict exactly how the boat will arrive,” states Lee Marine Broker, Jim Poulsen. In addition to the stringent testing by Riviera, no less than 100 hours is spent physically testing and checking the new build at Riviera by Lee Marine International Marine Brokerage team. Along with Riviera team, this ensures the boat will arrive ready for re-commissioning after off-loading from the ship.
At the destination port, after the off-load into the water, re-commissioning and testing starts all over again, simultaneously familiarising crew with the new high-tech Riviera systems. These really are designed to be ultra-user-friendly. Riviera flew out Peter Welch from the factory and with Lee Marine’s Glen King and Jim Poulsen, the beautiful Riviera was handed over – ready soon to be enjoyed in full by the owner and crew. All the testing is completed after five days and the boat is put through its paces. Another 120+ hours of testing and training before we are certain to be handing over a fully functional yacht sea ready and most worthy. Totally focusing on the boats we deliver provides our clients with the best performance with nothing left to chance.
