Benetti, part of the Azimut|Benetti Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nizar Tagi as General Manager of Benetti Asia. His task is to directly manage sales, maintain customer satisfaction levels and heads up after sales plus marketing strategies to further reinforce the Group’s presence in the Far East and APAC markets.
Nizar Tagi is a great yacht connoisseur who has worked with some of the most prominent companies and names in the yachting industry. He speaks 6 languages fluently, has two Masters degrees in Business Administration from the American University in Geneva and has sailed around the world on a 28 meter classic Abeking & Rasmussen sailing yacht. Started with George Nicholson’s Solidmark in Cannes, France before Benetti shipyards, Nizar was a yacht broker with Ocean Independence – Monaco involved in sales of mega yachts and to complete his yachting expertise he took the helm as Marina Sales Director of Porto Montenegro, which is considered by captains as the best state-of-the art marina in the world.
