The first superyacht launch of 2019 took place today in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands where Feadship revealed its new 58-metre Vitruvius motor yacht named Najiba. Known as project 699 during her build, Najiba is the design work of Philipe Briand under the studio’s Vitruvius name. Studio Liaigre was selected as the interior designer of the yacht who created a timeless ‘beach house’ style for this project. The project managers at MCM oversaw the build of the vessel during its construction in Aalsmeer.
“Najiba is a truly remarkable superyacht and the family are thrilled with what you have created for them,” commented MCM’s Peter Wilson who acted as the owner’s project manager during the build. “They had seen Feadship quality in other yachts, hence the long-held dream to develop one of their own. Even so, the owners and their extended family could not believe their eyes when the final result was revealed to them
this morning.”
