In response to the surfeit of boat shows in Greater China and Asia in general, international yacht-builders active in the region, such as the Ferretti Group, are focusing much more of their marketing activity on events such as ‘Open Days’. Ferretti’s second edition of its 2016 Open Days programme in Hong Kong ran from 10 – 12 June, 2016. It follows the first successful edition held in March.

This second edition was held at Ferretti’s Hong Kong service station in Aberdeen. Featured in the three-day event are three sizeable Ferretti yachts in the ‘Tai He Ban’ style, which the Chinese-owned Italian builder has developed for Asian clients. On display were three Ferretti Yachts maxi flybridges, all in Tai He Ban special edition. These comprise the brand’s flagship Ferretti Yachts 960 model, the Ferretti Yachts 870 and for the first time in the Asia Pacific region, the Ferretti Yachts 700.

“We are proud to introduce all three yachts, with the Ferretti Yachts 700, as one of the six brand-new models launched just last autumn. After the European and American debut, the yacht has now arrived in Asia in the exclusive Tai He Ban edition, a special layout and selection of materials thought and developed exclusively for our Far East markets.”

The three motoryachts are the outcome of a long-standing cooperation between Zuccon International Project and Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department, representing the epitome of Italian style, elegance and performance.

Lee Marine in Phuket is the Ferretti Group Distributor.  Their General Manager, Martin Holmes who attended the event, said that, “All three yachts have their own distinctive looks and interiors that are undeniable Ferretti. All are well-suited for South East Asia cruising in luxury. The sea trials in Repulse Bay proved just how powerful these boats are, as well as extremely comfortable.”

With the Tai He Ban special edition, Ferretti Yachts has created a new level of excellence aimed specifically at the Asian market. Through unique and particular surface finishes, trims and upholsteries, Ferretti Yachts have delivered something new and exclusive.
