New Thailand Yacht Show Ignites Global Yachting Industry

The inaugural edition of the Thailand Yacht Show next February is on course to deliver an outstanding event, set to become a major regional platform for the global charter and brokerage industries over the next few years.

With more than 40 berths already booked since the launch event hosted by Deputy Prime Minister General Thanasak Patimaprakorn just six weeks ago, organisers SYE are looking to expand the space reserved for the Show at Ao Po Grand Marina

Local industry heavyweight Lee Marine, presenting brands from the Ferretti Group, Riviera, and Cantieri Del Marche as well as a number of superyachts, will have a significant display. Joshua Lee, MD and owner of the company, says: “Lee Marine is delighted with the announcement of the new Thailand Yacht Show, which in our view, promises to become the most important in Asia over the next few years. We will be presenting our biggest ever fleet of boats at any show in our 18-year history.”

Lee continues: “With the recent charter regulation changes in Thailand, the big yachts will now come and stay longer, so a charter yacht show integrated in a large scale boat show will complement this initiative perfectly. We will be giving our full support with events, sea trials and logistical back up for visitors to ensure it’s a fun and rewarding week for all involved. We invite everyone to join us February 11-14 and enjoy what promises to be a great event.”

Now with the changes to the charter regulations and the launch of the new Yacht Show here for boats of all sizes, from small powerboats to superyachts, we have a really compelling proposition for all yacht owners and would-be owners. Come and experience one of the best boating destinations in the world next February – Princess Yachts will be there in full force with our world-leading line of boats and yachts!”

Destination Marketing

As part of the promotion of the Thailand Yacht Show and the week-long festival, we are producing and distributing a high quality production film on the sights and sounds of cruising in Thailand. The documentary format will feature up and coming superyacht destinations starting with Thailand, to be distributed online and through major broadcasting channels.

This will be a key boost to the promotion of the Show and Thailand as a yachting destination, but also an opportunity for brands to influence the discerning buyer at a starting level. For more information on how to be a part of the film, contact us on info@thailandyachtshow.asia.
